In case of severe asthma with frequent attacks one needs to take medicines everyday. Controller medicines are th most suitable for using daily to treat prevent the revival of asthmatic symptoms. Controller medicines are safe asthma medications to use every day. You are advised to take controller medicines daily in the following cases:
- If there are more than once instances of tight chest , cough and wheeze in a week.
- If can not sleep properly because of asthma.
- If you suffer frequent attacks of asthma.
How the quick relief medication should be used? Taking a quick relief medicine gives you a quick relief for the moment by stopping the attack. However, quick relief medication is the temporary solution. It lessens the number of attacks but can not prevent the airways from getting swollen more and more. And it is a dangerous sign to receive a severe and life threatening attack. Daily use of quick relief medicine to stop asthma attacks suggests to got for long term controller medicine.
